Hi,

It's a busy afternoon on the trail. I’m on the road today talking to Ohioans in Cleveland, but I had to take a second to turn on the Guardians game and send you this note. 

Because every time I watch this team, I'm reminded why I love this state.

I'll tell you more about that in a second, but first I have to ask: If you're able, will you chip in $5 to help us hit our critical goal on June 30? It's our first public FEC deadline since winning the primary, so every dollar counts.

Now. The Guards.

I grew up going to games with my dad. I spent countless summer nights cheering them on, and even now, hearing the game on in the background reminds me why I love Ohio. 

Because the Guards play harder than anybody. They grind it out. There's never any quit. 

They have what it takes to win, but not because they have the biggest payroll. Because they’ve got heart and grit.

That's Ohio. And it’s this campaign, too.

We don't have endless resources or billionaire backers. But like the Guardians, our team keeps showing up. Outworking everybody. 

That means busting our tails to keep our ads on the air. Relentlessly reaching out to voters in all 88 counties. Fighting to make sure we have the critical resources to compete all the way to Election Day.

So as I sit here watching the game, I'm personally asking you to chip in $5 to help our team today. Together, we'll hit our goal before the FEC deadline, flip this seat, and keep fighting for working people in Ohio.
