Kelly Morrison here and I’m excited to share that our campaign is in full swing!
We have had our hands full this spring, and as summer quickly approaches, I wanted to give you a recap of what we’ve been up to. But first, I have to tell you – our end of quarter fundraising deadline is just a few weeks away, and I still have to raise about $28,000 to keep our organizing program running strong.

Now, here is our campaign update!
We had a very busy Senate District convention season, and it was a joy to attend so many conventions across the district. I loved having the chance to see many familiar faces and meet a lot of new people! If you attended your first convention this year - welcome! We’re so happy to have you. 💙
The Senate District conventions led to the CD3 convention in Osseo. It was an honor to be nominated for endorsement by Mayor Hollies Winston of Brooklyn Park, and I was thrilled to earn the DFL endorsement!

Then at the end of May, I officially filed to run for office ! It is the honor of a lifetime to represent Minnesota in Congress, and it was exciting to make my run for re-election official. And great to file at the same time as my friend, Congresswoman Betty McCollum!

Campaign season means parade season! It was great to join the Tater Daze parade in Brooklyn Park just a few weeks back. Stay tuned for more parades this summer, and let us know if you would like to get involved!
Finally, I want to share one of my favorite events of the year — the Mound Fish Fry ! I was so happy to celebrate the incredible 51 year (!) career of Mound Fire Chief Greg Pederson. Congratulations, Chief Pederson, and thank you for all of your many contributions to our community. We are forever grateful.

In between these events we’re launching door knocks, hosting postcard writing sessions and fundraisers, and holding strategy meetings to ensure we are doing everything in our power to win this seat, flip the House, and finally put some checks on this administration.
