When I decided to run for Senate, I knew it would be an uphill climb.

The corporate special interests who have captured Washington for too long will spend any amount of money to keep their grip on power. And since I got into this race, that's exactly what they've done -- to the tune of over $26 million on attack ads here in Montana.

In my time as Montana's Governor, we've been able to look past the partisan food fights to bring people from across the state together around issues that matter to all of us.

We've worked with Republicans and Democrats alike to expand affordable health care, protect our public lands and outdoor spaces, and pass one of the strongest campaign finance laws in the country.
