It may not come as much of a surprise that the national press has written off North Dakota. They look at the map, see a red state, and assume this seat isn't worth watching. But being on the ground here, we know they are wrong, and the results of the last year and a half prove it.

Since the start of 2025, Democrats have been running about 13 points ahead of their 2024 numbers in election after election. And that’s not just in blue strongholds. It’s everywhere.

* In January 2025, a Democrat flipped a state Senate seat in rural Iowa, in a district Donald Trump had carried by 21 points.
* In April, in a Florida congressional district Trump won by 30 points, the Republican hung on by just 14. That's a nearly 20-point swing in a seat nobody thought was competitive.
* And last November, Democrats won the governor's races in Virginia and New Jersey by double digits.

We’ve seen a pattern here, and it shows people are fed up with total Republican control of government. These swings are showing up in exactly the kind of places people swore could never move. North Dakota can go the exact same way.

I'm out talking to voters every day. Farmers are getting crushed by tariffs. Families are watching the cost of everything climb. People are furious about a war started overseas. They are ready for a change, and they are telling me so.

I believe to my core. We just need the resources to get our message in front of every North Dakotan who hasn't heard it yet.
