Two pedestrians died over the weekend

Early Saturday morning, two drivers struck and killed a pedestrian who was walking near the 9th Street exit ramp on I-395 in DC. MDOT denies appeals for Purple Line contractor claims

IAD now features a new pickup area for Uber, Lyft

At Dulles International Airport, ride-hailing services like Uber and Lyft are no longer permitted to pick up passengers at the terminal due to congestion. Instead, IAD has joined the ranks of many other US airports in creating a designated pickup area for ride-hailing.  (Luz Lazo / Post)

DC puts Delaware back on its list of high-risk states

The District has put Delaware back on its list of 30 high-risk states due to the coronavirus pandemic. Delaware, a popular vacation destination, was initially included on the list but removed on August 10. The region’s market for condos still appears strong

Despite the coronavirus-induced recession, the market for condos in the region remains relatively strong. Law enforcement isn’t doing much to address social gatherings
