Friends,
President Trump is deliberately trying to defund and dismantle the U.S. Postal Service in order to sway the 2020 election in his favor.
Trump has confessed that his goal is to suppress mail in voting. He’s not even trying to hide it. And he’s willing to harm millions of Americans who depend on the Post Office in the process — including Veterans like myself who count on the Post Office to deliver their prescriptions.
The Trump Administration has already removed hundreds of sorting machines that they are refusing to put back, slowing down mail delivery. And now they are trying to rob the Post Office of the funding it needs to function.
That’s why the House of Representatives voted over the weekend to give $25 billion to the Post Office to fill any gaps in funding — because President Trump has proven he won’t do it himself.
Now, the Senate needs to vote on this issue as well.
Do you agree?

We can’t let Trump get away with politicizing the Post Office in order to attack our Veterans, our democracy and our constitutional right to vote.
It’s time for the Senate to follow the House of Representatives and vote on this issue.
Thank you for speaking out. This is so important.
Yours,
Tammy Duckworth
