Friend,

It was recently reported that at the end of the month, there will not be a single pharmacy in all of Cook County. The nearest pharmacy is a 100-mile round trip drive.

This is completely unacceptable and devastating for the people of Cook County. It's more critical than ever that we elect leaders who will champion healthcare issues, making sure that medication is affordable AND accessible to every American.

Living with Type 1 Diabetes, I know how absolutely critical medication can be, having led three Caravan to Canada trips where we crossed the northern border to get affordable life-saving insulin. I've fought tirelessly so that others who rely on all sorts of medication do not need to struggle to find reasonable prices and access to medicine.

Medicine should be affordable and accessible to everyone. When I make it to Congress, I promise not to leave any Minnesotan behind when it comes to healthcare.

Things need to change, and that means getting rid of Pete Stauber. Will you pitch in right away so that I can unseat him and protect the healthcare rights of every American?
