And in many ways, this moment reminds me of Bobby Kennedy’s speech at the
1964 Democratic Convention.
After a 20 minute standing ovation, Bobby said that his brother would have
never been able to accomplish any of what he had done without the support
of you — the Democratic Party.
He said that when we're in it together, we can accomplish a great deal.
That was just as true 60 years ago as it is true today.
There is only one way out of this difficult moment where Republicans
control the White House, the Senate and the House of Representatives ...
