Taking action to prevent gun violence is absolutely critical.

The Democratic House Majority did that by passing
legislation that includes $50 million in funding for gun violence
research — for the first time in over 22 years.

But now, it’s up to the Senate to follow our lead and bring
this legislation to a vote.

Add your name to our petition now to urge Mitch McConnell
and the Senate to pass this legislation immediately!

Keeping our communities and our children safe is a priority
for Dan, and it should be one of the top priorities for ALL of the
U.S. Congress.

This funding will be used by the Centers for Disease Control
and the National Institutes of Health to conduct research and
better understand how we can save lives by preventing gun
violence.

Tell the Senate: Pass this funding for gun violence
research now!

Thank you for taking action,

Team Lipinski

Dan, an engineer and former teacher, has brought hundreds of
millions of dollars in critical infrastructure projects to
Illinois, fought for better schools, protections for our seniors,
reforms to fix our broken Congress, and sought to make healthcare
more affordable for all. We are grateful for your support. Please
