Your ability to vote by mail has been expanded for 2020.

Andrew Gounardes: Democrat For New York

Friend,

Last Thursday, Governor Cuomo signed into law several pieces of legislation that expand New Yorkers ability to vote in the 2020 election.

Voting by mail is now an option for every registered voter, and the boards of elections will now process absentee ballots received the day after election that do not have a visible postmark to ensure every vote gets counted. Early voting is still available if you would prefer to skip the crowds and lines and vote in person. You can also still vote on election day in-person.

Things are changing fast though, so you should still make a plan now for November. You can check your voter registration status, and let us know how you plan on voting so we can keep you informed of any changes by clicking the button below.

If you already made your plan, you can join the team of volunteers making sure voters are educated. We have shifts every week and we are always looking for more help!
