Friend, before I'm your Congressman, I'm your neighbor.

I live here. I shop here. I get my coffee here (and yes, I have opinions about which place is best, but I'll keep those to myself to keep the peace). IL-06 has the kindest people, the best food, and the most legendary holiday parades in America, and I get to represent all of it. Lucky me.

That's not a talking point. It's why you've probably seen me around lately at town halls, small businesses, farmers' markets, and on the occasional chaotic parade route. I've made it my mission to actually show up , look you in the eye, and hear what's on your mind.

I want to be out there even more. More town halls, more block parties, more front-porch conversations across all of IL-06. But that takes a team, gas money, and resources. The unglamorous stuff that turns "I'd love to stop by" into "see you Saturday."
