Sunday afternoon is just about the worst time to send a fundraising email. Most people have logged off and are spending time with friends and family (as they should be!).

But this can't wait.

My finance team just informed me that our donations have significantly slowed. August is a very difficult time for fundraising and we're off track to reach our end-of-month goal.

So, I'm personally asking you to please add a contribution to my campaign before the day ends. I wouldn't reach out if I didn't think it was important.
