Bonn – the most important climate conference you've never heard of
– is happening this week. Frontline communities from the Global
South deserve to be heard, but are routinely denied visas, delayed
at borders, or priced out of attendance by soaring costs.

Meanwhile, the halls are filled by lobbyists for fossil fuel
companies raking in record profits who will try to make sure the
COP31 agenda is set without them. 1 in 25 attendees of COP30 were
fossil fuel lobbyists.^1

It's disgusting. But right now, we have a short window to act. We
are turning the tides with The Great Power Shift, a global campaign
to end our dependence on fossil fuels. We have momentum to make a
shift to renewable energy led by the frontline communities they
tried to shut out of Bonn.
