Tell Joe Biden and Kamala Harris:
"We haven’t given up on Medicare for All. With millions going uninsured during the pandemic-fueled downturn, it’s clearer than ever that healthcare can’t depend on employment."

John,
Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are the Democratic nominees for President and Vice President.
With a pandemic raging and millions losing their health insurance and their jobs, one of their first tasks if they win will be protecting Americans from the virus. One thing the pandemic has made clear is that everyone who lacks adequate health care access is a risk to everyone else.
That’s why it’s critical that our health care system brings everybody in, and leaves nobody out.
Joe Biden didn’t run on Medicare for All. But America’s health care system has deteriorated dramatically since he declared his candidacy. Social Security Works hasn’t given up on Medicare for All―and you shouldn’t either.
Send Joe Biden and Kamala Harris a message: We aren’t giving up on Medicare for All! If elected, make sure that everyone gets covered!
Donald Trump doesn’t have a plan to get everyone covered. In fact, his administration is suing to completely destroy the Affordable Care Act, adding another 20+ million uninsured Americans. The Supreme Court won’t rule on that case until just after the election, but Trump has shown us where he stands.
The best way to end the pandemic is universal rapid testing. But insurance status could exacerbate inequality without a simple, universal insurance system.
Tell Joe Biden and Kamala Harris: We need Medicare for All more than ever!
Thanks,
Michael Phelan Social Security Works
