Happy Pride Month!

In Virginia, we know that love is love, and this month we celebrate the joy and perseverance of the LGBTQ+ community.

Everyone deserves to live with dignity and without fear. That has always been the promise of our Commonwealth.

But we know that promise is under pressure. Across the country, LGBTQ+ Americans are facing a wave of attacks on their rights.

Here in Virginia, we are holding the line.

This November, Virginians will vote on a constitutional amendment to guarantee marriage equality for all. We will make it clear, in law and in practice, that every Virginian’s rights are protected.

I remain committed to ensuring that every Virginian feels welcome and safe in our Commonwealth. And during this month of celebration and resolve, I hope you will join me.
