This is not the same district it was a few years ago.

Redistricting has made CA-50 more conservative. In fact, outside of CA-48, this is now the most Republican congressional district in Southern California south of Orange County.

That changes things for us and you can see exactly what I mean when you look at last night’s results

It means we have to fight like there’s no tomorrow. It means we need to reach voters early, talk about what we’ve delivered, and make sure no one forgets what’s at stake.

Because if Republicans see an opening in San Diego, they’ll take it.
