GOD'S CHILDREN ARE NOT FOR SALE

Friend,

A child who has been trafficked often learns a heartbreaking lesson:

Don't trust anyone.
Not adults.
Not authority figures.

Not even the people trying to help.

That is one of the many reasons I am writing to you today.

My name is Eduardo Verástegui. I am the producer of the film Sound of Freedom and founder of the Sound of Freedom Foundation.

After learning firsthand about the horrors of child trafficking, I dedicated my life to helping protect vulnerable children and supporting efforts to stop this evil.

Over the years, I have met brave men and women who dedicate their lives to rescuing children from trafficking and exploitation.

They walk into places most of us could never imagine.

They investigate crimes no human being should ever have to see.

They sit with children whose innocence has been stolen.

And they carry those memories with them.

Day after day.
Year after year.

That burden is heavy.

Give Now. Bring Comfort.

Sometimes heavier than words can describe.

And that is why I want you to meet someone very special.

Her name is Molly.

Molly is a Labradoodle.

But to the officers, investigators, and rescued children she serves, she is so much more than a dog.

She is a source of comfort.
A source of peace.
A source of healing.

When an officer has spent hours working a difficult trafficking case, when they’ve witnessed evil no person should ever have to witness and the weight of the day feels almost unbearable...

Molly quietly walks over.

She leans against them.
And she stays.

She does not ask questions.
She does not need explanations.

Her presence alone reminds them they are not carrying this burden by themselves.

Sometimes that simple moment is enough to help someone breathe again.

Give Now. Bring Comfort.

But Molly's work does not stop there.

Some of the children rescued from trafficking are terrified, confused, and broken.

Many have been manipulated for so long that they do not immediately trust the people trying to help them.

Imagine that. Rescue has arrived. But trauma has taught them to fear everyone.

Then Molly enters the room.

No uniform. No questions. No pressure.

Just gentleness and love.

And somehow, walls begin to come down.

Small hands reach out. Tears begin to flow. Fear begins to soften.

And healing can begin.

That healing does not happen by accident.

It happens because one of our trusted anti-trafficking partners walks alongside survivors and the agencies that serve them.

They provide trauma-informed support, resources, and advocacy for lives shattered by trafficking.

Every day, they help children move from fear to freedom, from exploitation to safety, and from hopelessness to renewed hope.

Give Now. Bring Comfort.

I have seen firsthand how powerful these moments can be.

They remind me of the words of Jesus:

"Let the little children come to Me and do not hinder them." (Matthew 19:14)

Every child deserves safety, protection and every child deserves to know they are loved.

And sometimes God uses something as simple as a dog named Molly to help a hurting child take the first step toward healing.

What many people do not realize is that dogs like Molly require up to two years of specialized training.

They are carefully prepared to remain calm in chaotic situations.

They comfort children experiencing trauma and support officers carrying enormous emotional burdens.

They serve in places where hope can feel hard to find.

This training, care, and support are only possible because compassionate people choose to stand with this mission.

Give Now. Bring Comfort.

Friend, every rescue operation involves people willing to walk into darkness so others can find freedom.

But even heroes need support.

And so do the children they serve.

And sometimes healing begins with four paws, a gentle heart, and a quiet presence named Molly.

Today, I am asking if you will become part of that healing.

Your first gift of $25, $50, $100, or whatever God places on your heart will bring comfort, hope, and care to vulnerable children and those protecting them.

Because every child matters.

Every rescue matters.

And every act of compassion matters.

Will you make your first gift today?

Together, we can help protect God's children and bring light into some of the darkest places on earth.

With gratitude and prayer,

P.S. Molly cannot rescue a child by herself. But she helps wounded children begin to trust again. She helps exhausted officers keep going. And she reminds everyone she meets that compassion still exists. Your gift today helps provide that healing presence where it is needed most.
