I want to tell you a story:

Growing up, I never thought I’d run for President.

I was raised in a single parent household. We struggled just to get by.

The only reason I knew there was a Governor’s house in my hometown was because I delivered newspapers to it.

Now as Governor, my wife and I are raising our three kids in that very same house.

I got my shot at the American Dream. Now I’m running for President to make sure everyone -- no matter who you are or where you grow up -- gets that fair shot at a better life.

But I need your help. Our August fundraising deadline is tonight -- and we need $20,103 more by midnight to hit our goal. Any amount you can donate will get us closer, so I’m asking you personally: can you chip in now to power my campaign for President?

I’m a pro-choice, pro-union, populist Democrat who’s won three times in a red state. I’m the only candidate in the race who can say that. And I’m the only governor in the race.

I’m in Iowa right now holding town halls across the state. Because if we’re going to win in 2020, we can’t just focus on Democratic strongholds.
