It's Jason Crow.

Today is Flag Day. To me, it's an opportunity to reflect on what our flag represents: service, unity, and promise.

I served three combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan and was awarded a Bronze Star for my service.

In my time in the Army, I wasn't thinking about the politics of the men and women who bravely served alongside me, and we weren't fighting for Americans based on how they voted back home.

I was there because I believe in the promise our country represents.
I believe in always putting others ahead of myself.
I believe in freedom.

The man in the White House right now can't say the same. Trump doesn't know a thing about service... that's why he'll be spending Flag Day hosting a UFC fight in honor of his own birthday, which, in some strange coincidence, falls on the same day.

Clearly, his ego is bigger than his patriotism. But we already knew that.

The flag isn't his, it's OURS. He doesn't decide our future, we do. Democracy is in our hands. Will you sign on to help me send this message to Trump? [[link removed]]
