Dear Supporter,
Two weeks ago, we sent to you one of the most important Sunday Surveys that we’ve commissioned so far. In that survey, we asked for your thoughts on the way our country is governed and once again, we got tens of thousands of responses back.
Your feedback delivered a clear message to the Leadership of our party.
97% of you think that our second chamber, the House of Lords, needs to be reformed in some way. Two-thirds of you feel that the voting system we use in General Elections needs to change. 67% of you want to see more referendums on key national issues and 70% of you want to see referendums on key local issues such as planning or infrastructure decisions.
The one thing the overwhelming majority of you do want to maintain is the voting age, with a huge 99% of you believing it should be kept at 18, rather than lowering it to 16.
Below you will find a link to our penultimate survey. This week we’re going to be asking you for your thoughts on Law and Order.
As before, the survey won't take you more than a couple of minutes to complete and we will share the results with you when the survey closes next week. Please remember that each link will only work once, so to ensure your answers are recorded, please make sure you complete and submit your survey in one visit.
