San Diego’s congressional map has changed a lot over the last few years. And here’s the reality: my district has become more conservative and Republican.
You saw the election results - I can’t take anything for granted. Outside of CA-48, this is now the most Republican district in Southern California south of Orange County.
I need your help. Will you make a donation right now to help us raise the $25,000 we need this month to communicate with voters? [[link removed]]
I’ve won tough races before by staying focused on the people I represent: San Diego families, service members and veterans, border communities, small businesses, and everyone who wants a government that solves problems instead of creating chaos.
I work across the aisle and I’m not constrained by my party ID but a more Republican district means a harder campaign - that’s just reality. It means national Republicans will be watching this seat. It means we need to be ready early.
That's why I'm asking today. Will you rush a $20 contribution to help us defend this seat and take back the House? [[link removed]]I’m proud of what we’ve delivered for San Diego: investments in infrastructure, affordable housing and healthcare.
But there is so much more work to do.
We still have to protect reproductive freedom, address gun violence, lower costs, tackle climate change, and make sure San Diego has a strong, effective voice in Congress.
This district changed. Our campaign has to meet the moment.
Can I count on you? [[link removed]]
Thank you,
Scott
