My team just let me know that after reviewing our numbers for the quarter so far, we are falling behind our fundraising goal. And because June is a critical FEC deadline month, that shortfall isn’t just internal. It will become public for everyone to see.

That means my MAGA opponent — who is self-funding his campaign and pummeling us with attacks — will use this moment to try to paint our grassroots campaign as weak. He’ll try to convince Illinois that we don’t have what it takes to continue fighting.
