John, One year ago today, Trump made his birthday a spectacle of wasted tax-payer dollars on a military parade. This year, while his administration is crushing the economy, sending health care costs skyrocketing, and threatening fair elections by gutting the VRA, Trump is hosting a self-serving UFC event at the White House. It enrages me, John. We’re not celebrating Trump’s birthday. Georgia has suffered at the hands of Trump and his cronies firsthand: thousands of people kicked off their health care, families struggling to make ends meet, FBI raids with false claims of rigged elections, threats to our freedom to vote. There’s nothing to celebrate about this man. Trump and the GOP’s attacks on working families and democracy are fueled by a selfish, authoritarian playbook. He cares more about parades and UFC fights than Americans. He will continue to undermine democracy at the expense of people like you and I. We won’t be silent. And we won’t be complacent.
