If you haven't been keeping up with these races, here's why it's so urgent that you rush a donation today:

* Doug Jones is in a dead heat with his opponent in Alabama. Karl Rove's group One Nation and the Club for Growth are trying to tip the scales with $3.5 million in TV spending. Doug's team is trying to fight back with everything they have.
* Jeanne Shaheen's opponent has already invested more than $4 million of his personal fortune on his campaign, and both President Trump and the RNC are spending big in New Hampshire. Roll Call says Democrats "cannot afford to lose" in New Hampshire if we want to take back the Senate.
* The chair of the Minnesota GOP said they "are going to field probably the strongest candidate Minnesota has ever seen" against Tina Smith, and the Trump campaign has pledged to spend up to $30 million in the state.
* Gary Peters is running against a Republican who said he stands with Trump "2,000%" and has officially outraised Peters' campaign for four quarters in a row. CBS and Nate Silver's FiveThirtyEight have both said that if Republicans can win in Michigan in 2020, they can keep control of the Senate.
* While Cory Booker was holding President Trump accountable on the presidential campaign trail, Cory's opponent spent hundreds of thousands of dollars of his own money building a campaign to defeat him at home -- and he's pledged to spend even more.
* Mark Warner won re-election in 2014 by less than 1% (.8%) even after polls told him he'd easily win. This year, the Republican party is calling Virginia a "swing state" and the Trump Victory Initiative has been targeting the Commonwealth with events and funding since 2019.
