Hi John, Members Week is drawing to a close. But before we go...we wanted to give you a heads up on what’s coming up for SAS and why we need more members to help us! The truth is, we still have a lot more work to do to protect our waters and deliver our mission of full, transformational reform of the water industry. If you watched Dirty Business on Channel 4 earlier this year, you know that there is a very real human cost to the sewage scandal. We refuse to allow more people to pay with their health for a broken system. But we can’t do it alone. All of our work – protests, petitions, and relentless public pressure – is powered by our members. If you believe in a system that puts people over profit, join us as a member today and help power the next phase of the fight. It’s time for real change. No more lip service. No more tinkering. No more swimming in sh*t. 😡 Are you with us, John? [Become a member <[link removed]>]
[<[link removed]>] What’s on the horizon at SAS Bathing Waters legal action ⚖️ You may have seen, we’re taking the government to court. Not something that happens every day. But we’ve launched a Judicial Review into the government’s changes to the Bathing Water Regulations. Because we think they’ve overstepped and are endangering UK water users by prioritising profit over our health.
Youth Campaigning ✊️ This year we are building a new initiative to power up the next wave of youth ocean activists. Starting with a Youth Advisory Panel that will shape what’s next in campaigning for the future of our waters.
There’s still a lot of work to do.
But it's our mission to see a water system that prioritises the health of people and our planet. And we need more members to help us achieve that! 🙋‍♀️ With a small monthly gift, you can join the fight to end the profit-driven sewage scandal. Are you with us, Ocean Activist?
