At the end of this month, our campaign faces our next FEC end-of-quarter fundraising deadline.

End-of-quarter deadlines matter for a number of reasons. After the quarter wraps, the entire public can see where our campaign stands. And you can bet National Republicans will be eyeing these numbers, hoping to determine if they have the edge they need to flip this seat.

We are working hard to ensure we put up strong numbers, john, and the first step is reaching our mid-month goal. Will you chip in $5, or whatever works best, ahead of Monday's mid-month deadline? Our team has set an ambitious goal of $20,000 before midnight on June 15.

In races like this, what it will all come down to is who has the resources to spread their message before voters head to the polls.

This race will be tough, and it will be expensive. But I didn't run for Congress because it was easy. I ran because my former representative wasn't doing enough to fight for affordable healthcare or stand up to President Trump, and as a doctor and a mom, I knew Washington families deserved better.
