Hey, Peggy here.
We are less than 3 days out from the middle of the month. That’s when we take a look at our numbers and project whether we’ll hit our next big goal: the FEC deadline at the end of June.
This is a key point in the campaign — halfway through the calendar year and barrelling toward November. It’s a milestone for the campaign, and a time to take stock. Not just of our finances (I’ll talk about that later), but what this race means.
I entered the race because I know too many Minnesotans feel like the bottom could fall out at any moment. I know what that’s like. My hardworking single mom relied on public schools, public housing, and Medicaid to get us by.
That's why I'm running for Senate: to be a loud, clear voice for families like mine.
Ever since I first ran for office, I promised myself and my community that I would always be a different kind of Democrat — one who puts people over politics.
That’s something that will never change. When we were all tested at the beginning of the year with Trump’s ICE invasion, that commitment only got stronger.
We’ve experienced unprecedented amounts of loss and violence. But every tough moment we’ve faced has shown who Minnesotans truly are — people who love our state, and each other.
We’re a state full of folks who give a damn about each other.
So that’s why I’m running for Senate. I give a damn about every person, every family in this state. I want us all to be free from worrying about how to put food on the table, a roof over our heads, and get the care our families need.
And it’s why I wanted this campaign to be grassroots-powered, free from corporate PAC money. It's built by folks like you who believe in our shared power to create bold, lasting change.
That makes it even more important that we stay on track and hit our goals — we won’t ask dark money or corporate donors to cut a check and make up any deficit.
If you can, please donate now to help us surge ahead and stay on track for this goal.
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
Even if you can’t give right now, please know how much having you on this team means to me.
Chi miigwech (big thank you)!
