JOhn, I have some good news: one of my bills was just passed unanimously in the House.
I co-led the TRUE Accountability Act to tackle fraud and waste in the federal government — the right way, not by slashing and gutting programs without concern for the consequences (see: DOGE).
The legislation would require federal agencies to proactively develop plans to prevent fraud during emergency crises. Without this kind of planning, we’re just leaving the door open for potential misuse of funds at the expense of Americans in need.
It’s common sense, and I’m glad my colleagues on both sides of the aisle agreed! Passing the House unanimously is a big step forward. But unless the Senate acts, this bill goes nowhere.
Will you sign my petition to urge the Senate to pass this legislation without delay? We know public pressure can make a difference, so please add your name today: [[link removed]]

Americans are tired of political stunts. They want problem-solving — and that’s exactly what this bill does. It might not make a lot of headlines, but it will help make government work better and protect taxpayer dollars. That’s a win.
Thanks so much for your support.
