When the Tennessee legislature redrew our maps last month, they decided, for you, how much your vote should count.

They cracked Memphis into three pieces and split Nashville into five, so the communities most likely to demand change would have the least say in Washington. There’s no point in denying that this was an attack on the most basic right we have: the right to be heard in a democratic state and country.

Tennessee isn't alone. Down in Alabama, the Supreme Court recently cleared the way for a map that erases Black voting power and democratic representation across the board — the same playbook they ran in Louisiana, Texas, and Florida.

All these states are Southern and working-class, with strong blocs of Black voting power. These gerrymanders are an attempt to strip our vote, silence our voice, and cling to power forever.

Vincent is running to fight back. And this weekend, we're working to hit $10,000 by Monday to head into our first FEC report strong.
