After New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy issued an executive order to send a mail ballot to every registered voter in the state ahead of this November's election, President Trump filed a lawsuit this week to stop it.

Trump has been pushing false and dangerous rumors around vote-by-mail on Twitter and at his rallies, calling it "fraudulent" and "rigged" -- even though he himself will be voting by mail this year. Now, he's taking his misinformation campaign to the courts right here in the Garden State.

This is a direct attack on the right to vote in New Jersey, and we must fight back.

Voting by mail is a safe and secure option to cast your ballot during this pandemic. Cory is proud to represent a state that is making it as easy as possible for voters to participate in our democracy, and he knows that this lawsuit is a blatant act of voter suppression.

Republicans and the Trump campaign keep trying to make it more difficult for people to vote, because they're afraid of what will happen when the American people rise up and make their voices heard.

Let's fight hard over these next two months to preserve and protect every voter's right to safely cast their vote by mail. The stakes couldn't be higher.
