Hi,
Mike has been talking about health care since he launched his campaign, and for good reason: It will be his number one priority when we elect him to represent Mississippi in the U.S. Senate this November.
Mike’s got a plan to tackle Mississippi’s health care crisis by building upon the Affordable Care Act, expanding Medicaid, lowering prescription drug prices, providing equal access to mental health and addiction treatment, protecting Social Security and Medicare for our seniors, and properly addressing the COVID-19 pandemic.
What’s Cindy Hyde-Smith’s plan? She doesn’t have one.
Since she set foot in the Senate in 2018, all Hyde-Smith has done is attack the Affordable Care Act – including protections for Mississippians with pre-existing conditions – at every turn, without proposing an alternative.
Not only has she voted to repeal the ACA, but she fully supports the Trump administration’s lawsuit to overturn the ACA through the courts, which would cause millions of Americans to lose health coverage in the middle of the pandemic.
Plus, she’s stood in the way of expanding Medicaid in Mississippi and has worked to stall relief for people suffering in the face of this pandemic, which has only grown worse across our state.
As Mike always says, “If you’re not running for office to fix our health care crisis, why are you even running?”
This November, let’s elect a leader who actually has a plan to address this crisis and provide affordable, accessible health care to every Mississippian: Pitch in to support Mike today.
