** Honoring Anne Frank's 97th Birthday
------------------------------------------------------------

Our new initiative to bring Anne's story to the next generation

Dear Friends,

Today would have been Anne Frank's 97th birthday.

On her 13th birthday in 1942, Anne received the diary that would become one of the most widely read books in the world and one of the most powerful testimonies of the Holocaust. Through her words, generations have come to know not only the tragedy of the Holocaust, but also the courage, humanity, and hope of a young girl whose voice continues to resonate across time.

As we honor Anne today, we are also taking an important step toward ensuring her story reaches future generations where they are most active, on social media.

Today, Anne Frank Center USA launched @AnneFrankLifeStory ([link removed]) on Instagram ([link removed]) and TikTok ([link removed]) , a new initiative designed to bring Holocaust education to young people where they are learning, connecting, and engaging online.

@AnneFrankLifeStory ([link removed]) will feature short-form animated videos inspired by Anne's diary, educational content, and opportunities for meaningful engagement with history at a time when misinformation and antisemitism continue to rise.

The project was developed in partnership with Luc Bernard, creator of Voices of the Forgotten, the Holocaust museum inside the video game Fortnite, who is directing the videos. It emerged through the Eradicate Hate Global Summit and was made possible through a New Media grant from the Claims Conference.
