It’s now been over a hundred days since Trump launched his needless war with Iran, which has destabilized the region and killed far too many.
After two months of negotiations, Trump has failed miserably to secure peace, and now the bombings and strikes are starting up again on both sides.

Friend, Trump started this war without the support of the American people or America’s allies.
That opposition quickly turned out to be correct — Iranian civilians have been killed, US soldiers have been killed, and the entire region has been destabilized for essentially no gain. Americans aren't safer, and Iranians certainly aren’t better off.
Countries like Iraq, Kuwait, Bahrain, and the UAE have been caught in the crossfire simply as a consequence of their allyship with the US under Trump.
Israel has used this war as a reason to attack and invade Lebanon, killing thousands and displacing over a million people from their homes in their ancestral villages and cities. That’s not to mention a sharp spike of settler violence in the West Bank, and an intensified Israeli blockade of Gaza.
And of course, here at home we are experiencing a sharp increase in the cost of gas, and with it the cost of goods, thanks to the standoff in the Strait of Hormuz — another aspect of this war that has been wildly mishandled and miscalculated by Trump.
Congress has the power to bring this madness to an end before it becomes another Forever War. It’s time to act.
