As Governor, I’ve been spending time visiting farms all across our Commonwealth.
Agriculture is Virginia's number-one private industry. It supports hundreds of thousands of jobs and feeds families across our Commonwealth and beyond.
When I was in Congress, I was proud to be the only Virginian serving on the Agriculture Committee. I advocated for Virginia's farmers then, and I'm doing the same now as Governor.
That means standing up against tariffs that raise costs and close off export markets our farmers count on. It means investing in the infrastructure that helps farm families stay competitive. And it means making sure that when decisions get made in Richmond that affect agriculture, the people who actually work the land have a seat at the table.
