Last week, Donald Trump and Mike Pence traveled to Wisconsin to rally their right-wing base. Here are a few things you should know:
- This was Trump’s second visit to Wisconsin and Pence’s third since they began campaigning again in June. It’s clear Trump has made our state a top priority — we’re sure he will be back again before Election Day, so we have to be on high alert.
- The presidential race is TIED in Wisconsin. The Cook Political Report called Wisconsin the “tipping point,” meaning whoever wins our state, wins the White House. Every single thing we do will make the difference in the handful of votes that will decide this election and determine who our next president will be.
- We aren’t where we need to be this month — and with the election this close, we really can’t afford to fall behind. If we don’t act now, we could give Trump the White House by a razor thin margin all over again.
Will you chip in $10 to help us catch up on our August fundraising? Your contribution right now will go a long way in our efforts to flip Wisconsin and send Trump packing in November.
