CNBC: Trump says 'I love the inflation' after consumer price index hits 3-year high

We’re pretty outraged by it, and we bet you are too. Everything Trump does shows that he’s deeply out of touch with the American people, and he doesn’t care to fix the problem.

Here’s the thing: Trump surrounds himself with billionaires who don’t know and don’t care what life looks like for working Americans. We know that that’s infuriating because our team at the DNC is just like you. We shop at the same grocery stores and get gas at the same gas stations. We know just how bad things have gotten and just how horrifying it is to hear the president say that he “loves” it.

We don’t have a choice. To fix this, we have to elect Democratic majorities in the House and Senate this November. It’s the only way to block Trump’s agenda before 2029 — and the American people can’t afford to wait until 2029 for things to get better.

So, if you’re with us, and you don’t “love the inflation,” we’re asking: Please chip in today to help elect Democrats who will fight for working people — up and down the ballot, all across the country.
