Dear friends and partners,

Caps off to the Class of 2026! After spending the final days of the school year joining as many graduations, culminations, and celebrations as LA traffic would allow, one thing is clear: the future is bright for our next generation of leaders.

This year’s ceremonies were a particularly inspiring reminder of the joy and resilience that defines our school communities. Our culminating fifth graders began their educational journeys on Zoom during the height of the pandemic. Seniors at Palisades High were able to graduate on their home field for the first time since last year’s wildfires. From LA Unified’s preschools to our adult education programs, every graduate represents the perseverance, determination, and opportunity that we work every day to help students achieve.

And just because school is out doesn’t mean that work takes a break. Our summer learning and enrichment programs are right around the corner, and the Board will be meeting over the next few weeks to approve the budget, direct new investments to our school communities, and continue discussions about how we can best support student success in the years ahead.

Onward,

Caps Off to the Class of 2026!
