John,
We’re witnessing a massive global bee die-off.
The impact on our food system could be catastrophic. Bees are an essential part of the food chain. In fact, bees are responsible for ONE of every FOUR bites of food we eat.
But, despite bees’ vital role in sustaining life on Earth — and in the middle of a global health crisis, no less — Trump’s EPA proposed re-approving the widespread use of bee-killing neonicotinoids. Unless we take action now, the impact this could have on bees, our food system and the planet could be devastating. At Food & Water Action we will do everything in our power to stop this from happening, but we need your help.
Donate now to protect bees from Trump’s EPA and bee-killing pesticides!

Neonicotinoids and other pesticides are a major contributor to bees’ drastic decline, impairing their natural defense systems, limiting their reproductive success and reducing their chance of survival.
The European Union passed a moratorium on the most widely-used pesticides, and several U.S. state and local governments have issued bans or restrictions as well. But not Trump’s EPA. It wants to give giant agribusinesses a free-pass to continue using these killer chemicals. Will you join our fight to protect bees?

Last year, U.S. beekeepers lost more than 40% of their honeybee populations. It’s a continuation of a trend that began in the 1980s, when bees began dying at an alarming rate. Now we have just a fraction of these vital pollinators left.
We know the culprit: Scientists have uncovered a mountain of evidence showing that a class of pesticides called neonicotinoids are a leading cause of bee die-offs. The widely-used pesticides cause nervous system problems in bees that stop them from pollinating and breeding. If that weren’t bad enough, the administration’s repeated efforts to sidestep long-standing conservation laws in order to expand fracking and drilling are exacerbating air pollution and climate change — making it even harder for bees to survive. The impact on bee populations is clear and devastating.
Food & Water Action is mobilizing on every front to force Trump’s EPA to withdraw this proposal before it's too late. We’re also calling on state and local governments to give the bees a lifeline by banning bee-killing pesticides locally. Your donations are making it possible to send our activists to Congress, our lawyers to the courts, and to organize protests virtually and in the streets — all to demand protection for the bees we all depend on for our food.
Will you join our fight? Donate today to help save the bees!
