The New York Times recently published a detailed investigation into the breakdown that occurred when Georgians tried to cast their ballots in our primary.

The report said, “what happened in June was a collective collapse” and revealed a systemic failure of Republicans to protect our right to vote which undermines our democracy and silences our voices.

But Republicans have not been deterred. Donald Trump has made clear that they are doing everything they can to make it harder for people to cast their ballots — especially for those voting by mail.

We need to make serious investments in making sure every eligible voter can make their voice heard.
