Team, there is a lot going on, so let me jog your memory about another one of Trump’s irresponsible tweets from a few weeks ago.

Let’s be very clear about this: The president doesn't have the power to delay an election.

You can count on me to take meaningful action to fight to enshrine the right to vote and to end attacks on voting rights if I am elected to Congress. Republicans like Trump and Roger Williams are attacking voting by mail to delegitimize the results of elections they know they will lose.

You are more likely to be struck by lightning than commit in-person voter fraud. Voting by mail is reliable, safe, and secure.

It’s up to all of us right now to protect our right to vote safely. That’s why we’re building out plans for voter education and outreach on the ground ahead of November, and making sure we raise our voices to demand action now.
