People across the country are rising up in support of our public Postal Service - this is amazing. The entire country is behind us in our fight to #SaveThePostOffice.
This Tuesday, Aug. 25, people will gather at Post Offices in every corner of the USA. Will you be a part of the day of action? Check the map to find your closest event - and if there's not one there, you can create one yourself.
The demands are clear - the Postmaster General must fully end his mail slowdown and undo the damage he has done to the Postal Service. Congress must provide at least $25 billion in funding for the USPS.
People are waiting for their prescription medicines. Animals are dying in transit. Packages are late and small businesses are left with angry customers in the middle of the worst economic crisis in living memory.
No wonder people are outraged! This is a crucial moment for us all. John, we hope we can count on you to step up.
