One of my top priorities in Congress is rooting out corruption, no matter where it comes from – because our democracy should be something we believe in and trust.

Right now, approval of our government and institutions is hitting record lows. A key reason why is that those in power are unfairly profiting from their position – from stock trading to betting.

That's why I'm proud to have introduced the first bipartisan legislation to ban the President, Congress, military officials, and senior staff from using prediction markets.

Prediction markets are rapidly changing the landscape in our country, and we need guardrails now. As a member of Congress, my interests are with the people I took an oath to represent – no one in my position should be able to use inside information to better themselves at Americans' expense.
