Friend, did you see me on Lawrence O’Donnell last night?

Democratic Governors are the first line of defense against Trump’s worst policies — and I’m ready to be that brick wall for New Mexico. While many people think this race is safe, Republicans are already pouring millions into it to try to stop me from becoming Governor. Will you chip in $5 right now to help me win in November, stand up for working families, and stop Donald Trump’s extremist agenda from coming to New Mexico?

The stakes of this race are huge, friend. Donald Trump is cutting Medicaid and SNAP, firing federal workers, and raising costs for working families. And New Mexicans are uniquely vulnerable to these cuts.

That’s why an experienced leader who has led a 70,000-person workforce and managed an $18 billion budget; who has had five bills passed and signed into law by Donald Trump; who has the lived experience of being a single mom working multiple jobs to make ends meet; and who has gone up against Donald Trump and won is more important than ever.

This campaign is historic: I would be the first Native American woman Governor in our nation’s history.

But that’s not why I’m running.

This campaign is about fighting for every New Mexican. New Mexicans deserve someone to fight for them, someone to lower costs, strengthen our schools, protect our communities, and make sure every New Mexican has the opportunity to get ahead.

Friend, this is a make-or-break moment in this race: Our fight is far from over, and Republicans are ready to spend whatever it takes to take me down.
