Join us, because one job should pay enough to support your family.

Dear John,

Across Wisconsin, people are working hard every day — and still struggling to make ends meet.

Parents are working multiple jobs to afford housing, groceries, transportation, and child care. Families are making careful decisions about every dollar because wages have not kept up with the cost of living.

At Kids Forward, we believe work should provide dignity, stability, and opportunity.

That means:

  • A living wage starting at $20/hour that increases with the cost of living
  • A tax system that helps working families stay afloat
  • Long-term economic stability for children and caregivers

And when we come together across race and place in Wisconsin, we can make this happen.

For many years, we’ve advocated alongside immigrant advocates, organizers, and DACA recipients, fighting for equal rights for every Wisconsinite. As a result, DACA recipients can now obtain professional licenses, opening the door for careers in teaching, nursing, skilled trades, and more.

But meaningful systems change requires consistent, long-term advocacy.

The wins people see publicly are built on years of research, relationship-building, public engagement, and persistence.

That’s why monthly supporters are so important.

Our Partners in Equity give recurring donations to help sustain the steady work of advancing policies that improve the lives of Wisconsin kids and families.

Will you become a Partner in Equity today?

Thank you for standing with Wisconsin families.

In community,
