John,
I was there on January 6th.
I saw firsthand the chaos Donald Trump caused when his supporters stormed the Capitol and tried to overturn a free and fair election. I saw the fear, the violence, and the damage done to our democracy.
Now, after pardoning these criminals, Donald Trump reportedly wants to PAY them, with YOUR tax dollars, for supposed “mistreatment” by the Justice Department.
It is absolutely outrageous that this administration can suddenly find money for the people who attacked our democracy, while telling Americans there’s “no funding” for healthcare, affordable housing, or the basic issues families are struggling with every single day.
Congress must do everything possible to stop this. If you agree, will you add your name now? [[link removed]]

It should go without saying that people who assaulted police officers and attempted to block the peaceful transfer of power should not be rewarded with taxpayer dollars. Unfortunately, in Trump’s America, we have to say it.
Americans are struggling to afford groceries, rent, prescriptions, and childcare. Families need real help and communities need real investment. Instead, Donald Trump is once again putting the people who carried out his political violence ahead of the American people.
We can’t normalize this, and we can’t stay silent while Trump continues trying to rewrite what happened on January 6th.
If you agree Congress must block any effort to reward the January 6th insurrectionists, add your name right now. [[link removed]]
