Hey John -

Dan Crenshaw here. I hope you are well.

There is more encouraging news about COVID-19 hospitalizations in Houston that I continue to highlight. I also called out Democrats for their rhetoric during their party’s convention and explained the difference between Democrats and Republicans this November.

Follow me on Twitter ([link removed]) , Facebook ([link removed]) , and Instagram ([link removed]) for regular updates and news you can use. As always, thank you for your support.

Now, here’s your campaign brief:

HOSPITALIZATIONS IN HOUSTON CONTINUE
TRENDING DOWNWARD
We have made tremendous progress since the beginning of July in bending the COVID-19 hospitalization curve down in Houston. Thanks to our health care heroes on the front lines and Texans taking proper personal precautions, we have continued this trend for the past several weeks.

This is good news and we need to keep it up. We are Houston Strong and we will get through this.

WHY CAN'T DEMOCRATS BE HONEST ABOUT THEIR AGENDA?
If you have watched the Democratic National Convention this week, you might notice something glaring was missing: An actual plan of policies to deal with the challenges our country is facing.

Why can’t Democrats tell us about their policies? Because they know that their policies are in direct conflict with the wants and needs of the American people.

They won’t tell you about their plan for a government takeover of your health care, even though the author of Medicare for All is leading Joe Biden’s health care policy platform.

They won’t tell you about their plan to destroy American energy independence and raise your electricity prices, even though the author of the Green New Deal - Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez - is leading Joe Biden’s energy policy.

And they won’t tell you about their plans to make Joe Biden - in the words of Bernie Sanders - the “most progressive president since FDR.”

Democrats won’t be honest with you about their policies, but that doesn’t mean they will not implement them if they are in power. Do not give this party power in November.

YOUR CHOICE IN NOVEMBER

Your choice in November could not be more clear.

Democrats want to control you - from your health care decisions to where your kids go to school. Republicans want to give YOU more control of the decisions you make for yourself and your family.

Democrats want to raise your taxes and implement policies that will punish success. Republicans want to tax you as little as possible and reward the success of our innovators and entrepreneurs.

Democrat policies will defund the police, dismantle our economic system, and destroy the foundation upon which our country was built.

Republicans want to restore trust between police officers and the communities they serve. We want to rebuild the strongest economy and job opportunities Americans have ever seen. And we want to restore the sense of American pride that will teach our kids to love our country.

This is your choice in November.
