Jack, I want you to meet Evelyn. Just like you, she’s a part of the PPT community. She’s helped us fight (and win) for the half-fare program and for improved language accessibility across Pittsburgh’s transit system. Evelyn is a mother and member of the Latino community fighting with PPT for a transit system that truly serves everyone. She knows firsthand how isolating and frustrating learning a new transit system as an immigrant can be.
When she saw the opportunity to help PPT’s work to support her community, she knew she had to sign up.
This is why she became an ambassador for PPT’s Transit Tours [[link removed]] , and gave testimonies that helped demonstrate the massive impact that proper transit access can have.
Will you join Evelyn in building our movement by becoming a dues-paying member today [[link removed]] ?
For just $2.75 or more a year–the cost of a single PRT bus fare!–you'll become a vital part of building a movement for a budget that moves ALL Pennsylvanians.
In 2026 alone, we have:
We brought over 100 members to Harrisburg to shed light on the $80 million dollar transit budget gap, and emphasise the importance of paratransit and shared ride services to our representatives.
We trained 13 community organizing fellows across the Hilltop neighborhood of PGH, and the Lancaster and Lehigh Valley regions of PA.
Shared skills and built power with 170 people from across the country shared skills and built power at our 2026 Spring Training.
