We just saw a disturbing article published by The Washington Post. We wanted to share the details with you today:

At the recent meeting between President Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping to discuss US-China relations, every. single. official. at. the. table. was. a. man.

This shows a broader trend within the administration, where Trump has selected fewer women to serve in senior roles (only 14.53% of all nominees or Senate-confirmed political appointees are women), while also facing a historic amount of turnover among women within his Cabinet – every single departure from his Cabinet has been a woman.

This is the way it is, but it’s not the way it has to be. Many of you are writing to us expressing fear that we are living in drastically troubling times. In drastic times, we need drastic change: Starting with having MANY MORE women in the rooms where decisions are being made.

According to data collected from international research between 1989 and 2011, when women are involved in peace agreements, peace is 35% more likely to last 15+ years. We need women with top-level decision-making authority at these tables. →
