Dear TakeCharge Supporter,

We are getting close to reaching our goal to purchase a bus for Washington Academy.

In fact, we only need $8,000 more to make it happen.

As we canvas neighborhoods talking to prospective families, one thing keeps coming up again and again: families want Washington Academy for their children, but the number one barrier to getting more students into the classroom is that we do not currently have transportation.

A bus would change that. It would allow us to reach more students, serve more families, and remove one of the most practical obstacles standing between children and a strong educational foundation.

Washington Academy is growing, and interest from families is real. But without reliable transportation, too many students who could benefit from this opportunity may not be able to get there.
