Hey,

We know what's on your mind: it's August in Colorado -- and that means the wildflowers are in full bloom to enjoy outside with friends and family.

This time last year, this campaign was out and about meeting folks in local parks and around the neighborhood -- but we're obviously doing things a little bit differently this year. And in all seriousness, there are a few more reasons why you should think about the month ahead: we're only a few months away from ballots dropping with Jason's name on them.

So in just a few weeks, we're hosting a virtual grassroots fundraiser with special guest Eric Holder -- and we want you to be there!

Eric Holder served as U.S. attorney general in the Obama administration and is the current chair of the National Democratic Redistricting Committee (NDRC) -- which works toward ending gerrymandering by creating fair districts so people can choose who represents them -- and not the other way around.

Ending partisan gerrymandering is critical to keeping special interests out of politics and ensuring fairness in our elections. That's why one of the first bills Jason sponsored in Congress was For The People Act, which aimed to limit partisan gerrymandering.

We're honored to have the support of Eric Holder -- and while we can't save you a spot at the picnic table this year, we'd love for you to join the conversation on creating a fairer, more just democracy for everyone. RSVP now to save your (virtual) spot >> [link removed]

We hope to see you there!

Team Crow

P.S. There will also be a Q&A period, so be sure to submit your questions here>> [link removed]
